Shianne Gould

Shianne Gould, daughter of Loretta Gould, has been painting since she was a child. As a teenager she began painting more
frequently perfecting her skills. Now, as a mother, she finds her son inspiring her in some little way in every painting she
creates. Shianne often paints using vivid and vibrant colours, exploring themes surrounding family, womanhood and our
relationship with mother earth.

Shianne Gould, fille de Loretta Gould, peint depuis son enfance. À l’adolescence, elle a commencé à peindre plus fréquemment,
perfectionnant ainsi ses compétences. Devenue mère, elle constate que son fils l’inspire d’une manière ou d’une autre dans
chaque tableau qu’elle crée. Shianne a souvent recours à des couleurs vives et éclatantes pour explorer les thèmes de la
famille, de la féminité et de notre relation avec la terre nourricière.

Shawna Boulette Grapentine is a Cree-Ojibway, born in the city of Winnipeg, Canada. She was raised in the small Metis community of
Manigotogan on the northeastern shores of Lake Winnipeg and is a member of the Hollow Water First Nation. Known for using fine detail
and vibrant colours in her paintings, Shawna learned at an early age that she had a great passion for painting, sketching, and creating
art. She is proud to have been part of the Frontier School Division, who provided her with a strong foundation for the arts. Moon & Back
Custom Arts has been in operation since 2010, producing more inspiring art pieces each year, gaining recognition across Canada and
the United States. The name originated from a children’s story book that Shawna shared with her son, relating to her unconditional
love for him.
SHawna Boulette Grapentine est une Cree-Ojibway, née à Winnipeg, au Canada. Elle a grandi dans la petite communauté métisse de
Manigotogan, sur la rive nord-est du lac Winnipeg, et est membre de la Première Nation de Hollow Water. Shawna s’est découvert très tôt
une grande passion pour la peinture, le dessin et la création artistique. Elle est fière d’avoir été formée à la Frontier School Division, qui lui
a procuré une solide base en art. Elle est réputée pour la finesse de ses détails et son usage des couleurs vives. Moon & Back Custom Arts
est en activité depuis 2010, produisant chaque année des œuvres d’art inspirantes et appréciées pour leur qualité à travers le Canada et
les États-Unis. Le nom de son entreprise vient d’un recueil d’histoires que Shawna lisait à son fils, traitant de l’amour inconditionnel d’une
mère pour son enfant.
